An awesome story! It had my interest from the start. I had read the previous book, Sinner in Paradise. Saint is a continuation. It started very softly. It was nice checking in on the characters. I had waited three years to check back in with them. I guess you might say I missed them. There were times while reading, I felt that this was a true story. The second half of the story took me places I had never been, Africa! I felt sometimes I was actually there. It had ups and downs. Very exciting. I hated for the story to come to an end! I loved the book. Can't wait for this author to write her next novel!
Deborah Hining is a gifted writer, leaving the reader feeling like she is there with each character. I read her first book and was anxious to begin this one and it didn't disappoint! You journey to different lifestyles through Sally Beth and different places, including Tanzania, which I know I will never get to in my lifetime! Please read the other reviews listed as they are specific in giving you an outline of this book, which should excite you and make you want to place an order right away! A quick read you will not want to put down!!!!!!
Purchased this book after seeing a mention on Facebook. It was enthralling, realistic and educational while being a great read. I could visualize the scenery and characters. Highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next.

This book, "A Saint in Graceland," is intriguing, drawing you into the development of the plot and the characters. An intense amount of research was required to create an accurate historical account of Uganda's President Idi Amin's atrocities in the 1970's.
The book is extraordinary in that it elicits electrifying stimulation coupled with a historical backdrop of war, love, and cultural mores.
Loved the story. I'm not much on romance books, but this novel had plenty of excitement, historical accuracy and faith to keep me captivated. I liked this even more than the previous book. Great job Ms. Hining
This is the 2ND book in a series by D. Hiring. The 1St is "A Sinner In Paradise". While the stories have the same characters, I found this one more compelling and even savage in places. However, there was still plenty of room for Faith and even a bit of romance.
I recommend this author to anyone who wishes to read about cultures and locations that come alive on the page.
When I heard that Deborah had a novel to follow up with some of the characters from A Sinner in Paradise I was eager to read it. I did hold it until we had a long weekend in the mountains so I could read without interruption. I was not disappointed. The characters were fun, making some bizarre decisions that had some interesting outcomes. I was entertained!
But, about halfway through the story the plot took a turn and dear Sally Beth was in some serious and dangerous situations. Her heart was good and she was daring and brave. The final outcome made me smile, as well as sigh in relief!.
