It’s hard to find good, fictional stories about Lucifer that aren’t A) related to the TV show or B) poorly written. This is neither of those, and I absolutely love it.

I love that there is a strong, female lead here as well, instead of the normal damsel in distress. All around a great piece.

It's been a couple of years since I read a book in this genre, and I am glad a friend recommended this book to me. I loved this book. It had rotating story telling from the 2 main characters, and was easy to follow. It starts out as the old battle between Heaven and Hell, but morphs into a love story, with an unexpected protagonist.
I was hesitant to read this book. Lucifer a good guy? Well I'm so glad I did. It grabbed me from page one. Strong characters and fast moving. Great read, I loved it. I recommend it to anyone who loves good supernatural love stories and HEA.
Very good story. Not exactly what I was expecting, but a good story after all. I liked seeing Lucifer having some human traits. I think the author could have developed the secondary characters a little more. I would recommend this book.
I enjoyed this story of how Lucifer and Grace come together. I was actually surprised a few times in the plot twists that I did not see coming and this is good! For me this was a fresh look at heavens battle and the creation of the division between the angels. But mostly I liked the love story between Lucifer and Grace. I recommend this read.
A little bit of everything in this story romance, action, drama, mystery and betrayal. And that is only in the first chapter. From there Lucifer grows exponentially to capture your imagination, and make you think outside the box. With all that happens, there is still more to learn and explore for future stories about the other angels, whether of the fallen or still the pure.
I really liked this book! I couldn't help but choose it just because of the name of the book. I liked the author's style of writing and the switching of first person point-of-views for each chapter. I kind of wish that Grace had been more freaked out by knowing the Devil had found her. I think she accepted it a little too easy, and it would have been fun to see that tension. I am looking forward to the next in the series! The whole time I read his voice and imagined him as Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer in, well, Lucifer on FOX. Perfect character imagery!

Lucifer, book 1 in a series by Ava Martell, has some of the same plot elements as the tv show, but it's a different story. (Even if the devil speaks with a British accent in my head & resembles Tom Ellis in my mind.) Grace is unique & has a calming effect on her Lucifer while he lends her strength to fulfill her destiny. Their attraction to each other is fiery hot.

I enjoy a good paranormal romance but have grown weary of Vampires & shifters. Redeeming the devil is a great alternative.
